I've had an HBOT for a year now - and I love it! It is 1.5 ATA. My understanding is,it provides 5-7x more oxygen into plasma. I work in my chamber - can sit up and use my computer - so no time wasted. With my husband and i both using it, the amortization over 10 years is less than $50/month per person. Money well spent ....Wrote about my experience here: https://www.apoe44.org/p/the-power-of-hyperbaric-oxygen-a

Well I do believe Hyperbaric oxygen therapy does have a significant role to play in neurological restoration and repair and neurocognitive enhancement. My own experience with the commercialization of this technology was not that favorable. From Dubai and Hyperbaric Center opened up and they did 10 sessions and would do MRI before and after. My patient brought the MRIs to me for review, and I can tell you that all they did was change the windowing on the scan and there was no measurable difference on the MRI between the 10 sessions. Now if it's more like 60 sessions, I think there could be a visible effect especially with perfusion imaging, pet Imaging, and functional MRI.
